Sun European Partners LLP, the European advisor to Sun Capital Partners Inc, purchased Betts in June 2010.
March 2010, Betts Sells Chinese Factory
Betts Packaging Limited Shanghai has been sold to a local Chinese tube maker, Rego Packaging, and is no longer part of the Betts Group. On completion of the local regulatory filings, the company name will be changed. This could take up to six months.
The operations of Betts Guangzhou were closed down in January 2010.
