Lester holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked in ITW India & in Hong Kong before joining Betts India in 1999. Initially he was responsible for setting up the Marketing & Sales Function in Mumbai, before taking on the role of Commercial Head of India followed by a stint in Business Development for the Asia Region. He moved to Director - Operations for India and established the new factory at Baddi before taking over as General Manager of Betts India in March 2007. He was appointed Regional Director - Asia in October 2008.
